On page one after adhering some paper snippets I added today's calendar page which fits right in with it's cute little knitted doll. I also added some stiching to the calendar page. Then scrunched and stitched the sheer fabric into a loose bow. </p><p>Page two was a magazine pocket made by Lisa, inspired by Darcy that only needed to be shortened by half an inch. It holds a journal card note that Lisa wrote. And to finish I added the statue. As time goes by I may add a few embellishments but for now these two pages are done.</p><p>Page 2<br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiUtqfFnotU6NfuwWOWrUCMpiqIW-Xyo_kO5HusQmRu0QftR7QJlzi7TFnV1aJ45RHny_dqy40ae9rTv55rKBBqlYfgje4NrxFsjMGrRp1n435AGmcNwwqgzXEevg4XjFcalN7PdvXR60kLZQqU-QhuY-8SFTPrwpTMo1U_dmtfzUlG9FSB0wW1yMrTSs/s4032/20240107_145142.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiUtqfFnotU6NfuwWOWrUCMpiqIW-Xyo_kO5HusQmRu0QftR7QJlzi7TFnV1aJ45RHny_dqy40ae9rTv55rKBBqlYfgje4NrxFsjMGrRp1n435AGmcNwwqgzXEevg4XjFcalN7PdvXR60kLZQqU-QhuY-8SFTPrwpTMo1U_dmtfzUlG9FSB0wW1yMrTSs/s320/20240107_145142.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Page 1<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9tHBPUici5I3jgvAifpmpXOzuVna13lsD4ur8MpzHEjW3022sNHKzytGRsxwb0VSUQbK6uDssjMFIDC2C8nyjxfb_y_Z_Se2Mn_tkjViSCCu2Ix7eF3sDN1CitTrvmDNbMf7Ty2H2D6jWHh3IQJkUGm-aCXcaFMqpCBQrV3NFLkn4TJa9NOl37r5Itro/s4032/20240107_145114.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9tHBPUici5I3jgvAifpmpXOzuVna13lsD4ur8MpzHEjW3022sNHKzytGRsxwb0VSUQbK6uDssjMFIDC2C8nyjxfb_y_Z_Se2Mn_tkjViSCCu2Ix7eF3sDN1CitTrvmDNbMf7Ty2H2D6jWHh3IQJkUGm-aCXcaFMqpCBQrV3NFLkn4TJa9NOl37r5Itro/s320/20240107_145114.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><p>Thanks for looking,</p><p></p><p>Jutta </p>Jutta http://www.blogger.com/profile/15681020074967919176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7981162286118059331.post-50782706838827948832024-01-06T23:01:00.000-08:002024-02-03T02:00:14.235-08:00T J Goddess Journal <p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Hi arty friends today I'm sharing the beginning of my TJ Goddess Journal. One of the things I enjoy is the unpredictability of it all, each pull is a surprise. I had a few moments yesterday and wanted to give image transfer another try. I'm happy with how it turned out. The ghost pull and brayer off sheet will make nicely matched collage fodder.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtLVWEeCMkVwwa6-lZ8C0TgnHhyZBV7XURxO9RqluJUj5dRtaUL611NfZ9my3DP-edKKpR03N-nSfOMc7sdK3AG01WoTdEPBGMcqC61pK4_S4rfx7t7UmJMNCZZEOeddhC59gUXKFuK2EebmmqCxevF1IYLG27_UI72GWdTJw2rhXc-7fpmzVa8v3b/s4032/20230530_171427.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtLVWEeCMkVwwa6-lZ8C0TgnHhyZBV7XURxO9RqluJUj5dRtaUL611NfZ9my3DP-edKKpR03N-nSfOMc7sdK3AG01WoTdEPBGMcqC61pK4_S4rfx7t7UmJMNCZZEOeddhC59gUXKFuK2EebmmqCxevF1IYLG27_UI72GWdTJw2rhXc-7fpmzVa8v3b/s320/20230530_171427.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Using my 3x3 inch Gelli Arts plate. Spring is on it's way and I'm celebrating with the beautiful new Butterfly Brilliance bundle from Stampin' Up! I find it fascinating that the gorgeous butterfly stamp images in this set are sketched from actual exotic butterflies from around the globe. Did I mention I love butterflies. :)<br /></span><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOqc1F9xdfDEnCkgCxVW8P7SbK8kedKA6AnpOOZE_X0P_kAymtUBqMSrhxk9tnmG_sfaEeHC7sQVWjKLowmWs7Hjg3ZbIzsv0TwhVX5S4HVN-1wKDkEL5fC-sYNnurAUYODRMXT7HejA8/s2048/20210302_173426.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1599" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOqc1F9xdfDEnCkgCxVW8P7SbK8kedKA6AnpOOZE_X0P_kAymtUBqMSrhxk9tnmG_sfaEeHC7sQVWjKLowmWs7Hjg3ZbIzsv0TwhVX5S4HVN-1wKDkEL5fC-sYNnurAUYODRMXT7HejA8/s320/20210302_173426.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">All product used is from Stampin' Up!. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I started with a A2 card base made from Just Jade CS that I inked around the edge with Just Jade. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Next I cut the small rainbow butterfly paper from the Butterfly Bijou DSP to 5-1/4 x 4 and inked around the edge with Just Jade <span style="text-align: center;">before adhering to the base. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="text-align: center;">For the next layer I took a piece of White CS cut to 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 and added a thin bead of Tombow liquid glue around the edge and waited for it to dry before adding Gold Leafing. I then adhered this to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8UmtZe_l1pPh9WCgcgh_kp29F02cSFqKpH4wU_LtYxswxJX2aWf3mnF2Oan4wJXpc8MFTeC0XI0xG6gAzXvN3fTq0xu4ezPlzfxAYHZnJmZ9gk4wF12AMZgrR948Rl7reBAmneo64XAU/s2048/20210302_171443.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8UmtZe_l1pPh9WCgcgh_kp29F02cSFqKpH4wU_LtYxswxJX2aWf3mnF2Oan4wJXpc8MFTeC0XI0xG6gAzXvN3fTq0xu4ezPlzfxAYHZnJmZ9gk4wF12AMZgrR948Rl7reBAmneo64XAU/s320/20210302_171443.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p><br /></p>I made a DIY stamp from a scrap of craft foam torn to size to give it a more organic shape and a die from the Butterfly Wings dies. <p></p><p>I then used it to stamp with Just Jade on the small mandala paper from the Butterfly Bijou DSP giving another layer of visual dimension to the 3-1/4 x 2-1/4 tag. I completed the tag by adding Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and adhering with Stampin' Dimenionals.</p><p>For embellishment I cut the butterfly out of the Butterfly Bijou DSP with the coordinating Butterfly Wings die. Gave it some shaping and added Wink of Stella glitter pen to the wings. I adhered the body only of the butterfly leaving the wings free. </p><p>I used a sweet sentiment from the Garden Wishes stamped in Just Jade on White CS to match and also adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. To complete I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7a62LzCx4KQPAPbjnnDu32Xw-omaQrGPmZYDXHirAAFXjPd3yha92sOC4Gq3VkzEWT9I0bdPD9rcZREuCISwjp144HZno_xa7KJwuGqF_wqu2pKV69nL856tJmY-yvy5hyOK_UXoySLg/s2048/20210302_171405.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7a62LzCx4KQPAPbjnnDu32Xw-omaQrGPmZYDXHirAAFXjPd3yha92sOC4Gq3VkzEWT9I0bdPD9rcZREuCISwjp144HZno_xa7KJwuGqF_wqu2pKV69nL856tJmY-yvy5hyOK_UXoySLg/s320/20210302_171405.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>If you have any questions about my process please feel free to ask. I first tried thinking of how I could fit all the criteria into a Christmas Card but since I was stumped I decided to just do an any day card. It was a lot of fun and I think I'll try it again with some Christmas colours and images. If you would like to check out the challenge for yourself please go <a href="https://cardchainchallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">here</a>. The supplies I used are from Stampin Up!.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizAzkfjrZfNJox8spS-2mgYBDhiKCr9sZo98LdGGF6VaB8xVxfp071TJ89vQLl9vH5xqbzy39Cdjx7RkaJ4aHaNqVgpC3uK-WteS68Kf2a_0-EWtGGUA6u6mX8EoLYoFakW9i96H2gE4g/" style="margin-left: 1em; For this one I tried to use as many of the options as possible. </p><p>I separated the Autumn of this retired Quietfire Design stamp used it on the outside as a stand alone sentiment and placed the remainder of the quote on the inside. I had fun doing an Iris fold inside, actually behind the maple leaf. This is a great way to use up all those little bits of scrapbooking paper as the strips are only 1/2" wide.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxl7BUZ5dlJTrQsmemdqnHLv1uYaA1RQPC8kPkcQ4nniBGMczPkwyPzOr_n2TwzDkrSV-z0CqXRTIo0EyFpMRCvju-TwA3WOqLDVb4459FMl-bRJHc-Prpa9maSH4Kn30GlvBxtfLfsjk/s1440/OCT2020ccc1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1440" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxl7BUZ5dlJTrQsmemdqnHLv1uYaA1RQPC8kPkcQ4nniBGMczPkwyPzOr_n2TwzDkrSV-z0CqXRTIo0EyFpMRCvju-TwA3WOqLDVb4459FMl-bRJHc-Prpa9maSH4Kn30GlvBxtfLfsjk/s320/OCT2020ccc1.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhAvjhatHD-MW3P6NUKxd-B7fCv_ECQZk4TmDZhR-DyjHvvsmagmp2J_mkyC_ENiuDpkh1YmKzrF46pHc9dXokh17mBNo6IKTLsxaz26-7jtJkt7MCYBVblBc7qrum9a1lRMzCoIYlb9s/s960/Oct2020cccinside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="720" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhAvjhatHD-MW3P6NUKxd-B7fCv_ECQZk4TmDZhR-DyjHvvsmagmp2J_mkyC_ENiuDpkh1YmKzrF46pHc9dXokh17mBNo6IKTLsxaz26-7jtJkt7MCYBVblBc7qrum9a1lRMzCoIYlb9s/s320/Oct2020cccinside.jpg" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUoGHh65giISMABPTY28332ZHD_CGoTk8L6MAo1EPpiszbBct9mCfQQALOXJj8_sO5gkgbMSHuZ6AKClM3UzlWZuhiGnSIvAHJGcIkRPC4wH2J-ckvlObz4Momuz5lsZKl0yG5_VbYZDE/s503/OCT2020CCC.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="503" data-original-width="328" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUoGHh65giISMABPTY28332ZHD_CGoTk8L6MAo1EPpiszbBct9mCfQQALOXJj8_sO5gkgbMSHuZ6AKClM3UzlWZuhiGnSIvAHJGcIkRPC4wH2J-ckvlObz4Momuz5lsZKl0yG5_VbYZDE/s320/OCT2020CCC.JPG" /></a><br /></div>Thanks for stopping by,<p></p><div>Jutta</div>Jutta http://www.blogger.com/profile/15681020074967919176noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7981162286118059331.post-26648006878428236262020-09-18T20:23:00.000-07:002020-09-18T20:23:36.447-07:00Free as a Bird -September 2020 CCC<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Welcome, just a few more days and it will officially be Autumn. A great way to get all your cards made ahead of time. My take on the red theme for February is a traditional red, green and gold card. It features a lovely sentiment and die design from Quietfire Design.<br />

Oops I guess it would help if I actually pressed publish, oh well better late than never. ;)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A post I was reading a few weeks ago now reminded me of Valentine's Day back in elementary school. Every year we would make a something such as a giant decorated heart to hang on our desk. Every one including the teacher exchanged Valentines. It was a lot of fun and the best part back then was that no one was left out! I have been so lucky to have a caring family and awesome group of friends that have helped me out during the last few years that I decided every one needed a card. </div>

I have been creating cards and other paper crafts again and it feels so good. Here are a few of my latest creations.<br />

Sadly there are too many excuses not to and I seem to know them all.<br />
But hold on, that was until today when Rebekah, a MJF blogger I follow issued a May 31 DaysYou challenge. The idea is to carve a half hour out of your day for yourself and take a walk. Well my days are mostly my own so no problem there. She also mentioned to take a camera and snap a few shots along the way. So with out further ado I give you my May first walk in pictures.<br />
