January Card Chain Challenge

Welcome, today I'm sharing a card I made for Daja in Germany as part of January's CCC. It's been ages since I joined in on a Card Chain Challenge exchange. This card was made using stamps from Paper Artsy and Stampin'Up!.

I followed the prompt colours magenta,
agua and gray. Also added paint splatters.
Thanks for stopping by.

TJ Goddess Art Journal-Continued

As we start the 3rd week in January work in the TJ Goddess Art Journal moves ahead
with pages 3, 4 and 5.
For these I used a postcard I received from Inge, gel prints, tea bag and tag. Rub ons from 49 and Market, magazine images, postage stamp, brass birds and dragonflies. Some shading was added around fussy cuts with a black stabile all pencil.

Thanks for the visit,
Jutta

TJ Goddess Journal -Day 2

Hello friends, today I used more of the papers and fabric gifted to me by Lisa and digitals from Cheran. On page one after adhering some paper snippets I added today's calendar page which fits right in with it's cute little knitted doll. I also added some stiching to the calendar page. Then scrunched and stitched the sheer fabric into a loose bow.

Page two was a magazine pocket made by Lisa, inspired by Darcy that only needed to be shortened by half an inch. It holds a journal card note that Lisa wrote. And to finish I added the statue. As time goes by I may add a few embellishments but for now these two pages are done.

T J Goddess Journal

Hi arty friends today I'm sharing the beginning of my TJ Goddess Journal. Back in November Cheran of Texture Junkies on YouTube invited me to join in a Journal make along. Today as I watched her latest installment I grabbed a used envelope and crafted a 12 page book and cover with it, along with one Journaling card.

The twelve pages have been attached to each other and the cover using Washi Tape which I glued in place with Mod Podge.
On the cover I added one of the statues from the digital kit that Cheran gifted me. It's base is covered by a napkin that I received in the envelope. There are several coats of Mod Podge on the cover. I finished it by dragging a Vintage Photo across it and adding some to the edges also to grunge it up a bit.
I plasticized and painted a gifted paper doily with as many as ten coats of Mod Podge, Gold paint and Izink Coffee spray. Added it as a hinged element to the front cover.
Also made some paper beads to add as dangling elements to the spine later.
The inside cover has words from a magazine that originally said 'Bring your color to life' from a paint advertisement. I like the grey tones of the statue against the colourful back ground. Usually it's the person that has color against a plain background. On the opposite page is a journal card made with a gel print and inkjet print that still needs a home.
My hope is to use more of the lovely gifts of papers and ephemera from my arty friends.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jutta
