Happy Valentine's Day Card
This Valentine card uses my homemade hexagon stencil and Quietfire Design stamps.
It is for a Valentines Card exchange at LOVE Handmade Cards, group on Flickr.
It's supposed to be a surprise so please don't tell Cat. ;)
I'm off to enjoy the sun now!

Receipts Wallet and Homemade Stencil
Good morning!
Today's share is actually two. A Wallet I made to corral my receipts an how I made my Stencil using a punch and reused sticker backing.

Homemade Hexagon Stencil
To make my stencil I used the backing from some sticker strips and the Stampin Up! Hexagon punch.
I started by punching a pattern in some card stock making a template. I attached the template to the clear backing with removable tape. Then punched through the template holes until my stencil was complete.
Here is the stencil in action as I start my Receipt Wallet.
The stencil is 12" long so that I can use it for my scrapbook pages too.
I hope you enjoyed my share today, thanks for visiting!

Love You Forever -Card
Today’s
share is a card I made for a special young man!
For
my card I cut a 4-1/4``x5-1/2``blue CS base, a 4``x5-1/4``pc of PP and a
3-3/4``x5``liner.
I
crimped the upper corner and inked all edges of the PP with Vintage Photo DI
before attaching to CS.
Next
I sponged Iridescent Pearl Acrylic Paint all over the card front with the
exception of the Musical Instruments.
After
stamping the love you forever sentiment from Quietfire Design –Calligraphic Love Bits
in Hydrangea Blue Staz On, I lightly distressed around the edge of entire card.

To
complete I inserted the liner before attaching the Ribbon and Button.
Thanks for your visit!
