Bonjour Card

A quick share of a card I made for the Hero Arts Fabulous Flowers Challenge.

The Hero Arts stamps were a gift from a friend so it was fun working with them again!

This weekend is a long weekend in BC celebrating Family Day on Monday. Wishing all my family and friends a wonderful weekend!

Paper Tole Dogwoods Birthday Card

Hello!
Have you heard, paper tole is making a come back how sweet is this!
Normally you will have 5 layers for a paper tole project I have only used 3 layers here
as this card is for a cousin overseas.
For my image I used Hero Arts - Dogwood Stamp and
Stampin Up! sentiment from Simply Sketched set.

I stamped it 3 times the middle is my card base.
Then watercoloured the flowers in Peach and
leaves in Chartreuse using Heidi Swap Color Shine.

I have to tell you that I'm real happy that Distress colours
do not wash out when painted over. :)
Rough cut out of flowers.
Cut the centres and leaf from this sheet.
Here the flowers, centres and leaf have been trimmed and
shaped. All edges coloured with Antique Linen Distress Marker
and ready for attaching with pop dots
 to base shown.

A close up view of 3D effect.

Thanks for your visit today! Jutta
