Christmas Card Collection and Snow!

Good morning , let the clean up begin here's a view outside this morning.

Now on to the fun stuff and the rest of today's share, Christmas cards and a bookmark tag. These are
a mix of papers from my stash, die cuts and SU! stamps.

In the cards below I used my stamp for the snowflake details on the RH one and stenciled through my die for the LH one.

I really like how this bookmark tag came together, it's going to look great hanging on the front of a gift bag.

I'm always glad to answer any questions if you'd like to know more about how my cards are made.
Have a good weekend!

create without limits -Bookmark

Hello!
Here today sharing a bookmark I made with the fun Quietfire Design calligraphy stamp create without limits.

For the top panel, I started with a scrap of watercolour paper that was torn out of my Art Journal.
-Daubed a bit of pink and lt blue here and there on the dry w/c paper and roughed up the one edge that was torn from the Journal to give it more texture.
-Next I used a Memory Box die to cut craft foam for an outline stamp as well as various colours of card stock for building the flowers and pot (set aside).
-After lightly wetting the w/c paper I used the craft foam outline stamp with dk blue ink  to make a shadow, let dry completely.
-Next I glued the lt brown CS outline over the inked shadow I coloured the flowers, leaves and pot with markers before adding the leaves and flowers in green CS followed by the flowers only in yellow CS.
Note: With the multiple layers offset slightly it gives it a nice 3d effect.
-Completed panel by stamping sentiment in same dk blue as the shadow.
Then adhered panel to coordinating  patterned paper then to card stock. Since I had an plastic sleeve on hand I used it but it would look just fine without too.

Entered this into the Die Cut Divas March Challenge.

The  Friendship sentiment is from Quietfire Design

Seahorse Dance ATC

I  received these bits of lace as gifts from my ATC trades and I have to say it is very cool looking!

For a quick and fun background I used the Lace as a stencil and simply dabbed the ink on with a Dauber. Then made a scalloped edge by continuing along both sides of the lace.

I love this Peacock stamp it is the perfect size for a bookmark.
The Dance to your own music stamp is also from Inkadinkado.
