Seahorse Dance ATC

I  received these bits of lace as gifts from my ATC trades and I have to say it is very cool looking!

For a quick and fun background I used the Lace as a stencil and simply dabbed the ink on with a Dauber. Then made a scalloped edge by continuing along both sides of the lace.

I love this Peacock stamp it is the perfect size for a bookmark.
The Dance to your own music stamp is also from Inkadinkado.

DIY Designer cardstock - Mountain Ash Leaves

To do Leaf printing you must first find some leaves.
I chose Mountain Ash Leaves for this one.

This can be a bit messy so cover your work surface with paper.
I found brayering the ink (Gumball green)onto leaves worked best.

Carefully pick up leaves turn them and place ink side down
onto white cardstock.
Now lay a piece of scratch paper on top of the
leaves and pat paper as if smoothing it out over top of the leaves.
Lift paper then leaves and viola
your leaf print is done.

Repeat print as many times as needed to fill your page.

For finishing my designer cardstock I added some  lighter green (Pear pizzazz )along stems.
Then spritzed some Gold Smootch all over.
Then I scrunched up a scrap of terry towel to randomly daub a variety of colour.
(Early espresso, Chocolate chip, Cajun craze & More mustard)
To complete I edged it with the Gumball green and then again lightly
in Cajun craze.

Experiment with other colours or shapes. Let me know how it works for you.

Thanks for your visit!

DIY - Fun foam BG stamp

DIY - Fun foam BG stamp by jmcraftygal

More fun with fun foam!

Here I'm using fun foam to create a background stamp.
I like that the impression is a bit distressed looking. It lasts for a long time too, this one has been around since february.

To make the FF Stamp I put the fun foam in the Lacy Brocade EF by Stampin Up! and ran it through my Big Shot as I would cardstock.

Now use FF stamp as you would any other unmounted stamp.
If using dye inks, clean up is as easy as holding it under running water.

I'll post the card that I'm making soon.

Create to share ATC

This ATC is my entry to the 150 years of Photography challenge on ATC from Canada.

I used watercolour crayons in a spiral pattern on Ranger canvas stock then sprayed it with Ranger silver pearls and let it move the colour a bit then dried it with tissue and finally ironed it to flatten and dry it.

When completely dry I adhered it to cardstock backing.

Stamped Say cheese bella from Stamping Bella (My prize from Die Cut Divas in Feb.)

To complete I added glitter gel pen to sides and misc. words.

Mosaic turned punchella ATC

I started with a piece of card stock ATC sized (2.5"x3.5").

Drew on a basic shape and then ran it through my Zyron.

I then punched out many 1/4" circles from 2 sided paper.

Starting from the a centre line out apply circles alternating colours to fill in shape.

When completely filled add fine glitter to fill in the blank spots.

As a final step I sealed the whole top to keep the glitter coralled.

Gotta love that glitter!

I wish you a sparkly day too, thanks for stopping by!
